Pointless Celebrities

See the BBC are insulting their viewers intelligence with this programme yet again.When its revealed that its all scripted like A Question of Sport ,we'll all say we had worked it out ages ago.

I hardly think it is insulting viewers intelligence as it is quite obvious the celebrity's have none anyway. ...the viewer must end up quite pleased to realise they are cleverer.

As far as Alexander Armstrong goes it is obvious that much of what he says is scripted, but I think that the "celebrities" are left to flounder as best they can.

I can't believe that Dana didn't know the colour of the ball worth one point in snooker. I can understand the ex-Three Degree not knowing, but Dana allowed herself to be overridden by the loudness of her partner. I'm sure she would have known that answer.

not sure about "question of sport" being scripted, but ITV's equivalent, "sporting triangles" was definitely more entertainment than quiz - jimmy greaves was an executive so had access to the questions and tessa sanderson, being of fluffy brain, was afforded access to them too.

I was amazed on he Chase Special how much Ben Miller didn't know and the English teacher from Educating Yorkshire who gave the answer of Emma as a book written by a Bronte!
