Place names within the UK which contain a drink or food.
1 "Henry" the vacuum cleaner can be found here (5)
3 A hot alcoholic drink often of rum and water plus left on a ship (8)
8 This sounds like a very sweet and sticky place of worship (11)
14 Organ of the body, alcoholic drink made from honey (9)

Thanks so much quinie for your much appreciated help that one has been bugging me, I am now finished !!!
Thanks again Mamyalynne for your clue re number 8 got the answer after seeing a jar of it in my cupboard !!!
I know I've banged on a bit today about this but it was great of the setter to provide the resource she used - I found it very helpful because you can find a word you think is in the answer then try 'starts' 'ends' 'contains' a great tool.

So many setters are being asked by their regulars to go 'no asking' so I think the 'no asking until...'should be used sparingly for the real stickers.
I agree with you, Mamyalynne. It really is an excellent site.I really enjoyed this quiz.Sometimes I get a little bit peeved at those who ask for a lot of help and then I think "Well,at least they bought the quiz"
