I want to send a small amount, probably less than £100 to a friend in Canada. Her daughter and family have had a house fire and lost absolutely everything, and we would like them to buy something for themselves. I have friend's name and address, but no bank details. What is the best - ie the most inexpensive way - to send the payment.

methyl. Bank transfer is safe but more expensive than PayPal and it takes several days, PayPal is instant.
