Ambitions

I'm feeling a bit pensive tonight and thinking how quickly life passes. I was thinking about ambitions that I had when I was younger and how life sometimes seems to get in the way of fulfilling those ambitions. I've never been overly ambitious...never wanted a million quid or to own a Ferrari...but I've achieved a few things, piloting an aircraft, a little travel, and a few minor things.(like climbing Snowdon and been in a tv studio audience)
I've yet to do a parachute jump or ride every roller coaster in the UK.

So, what ambitions have you achieved and what ambitions have you yet to achieve?

The only ambition left for me to achieve is to get best answer on 'See How Far This Goes...'

So true nailit, one minute we are in our 20s full of ambition and energy then suddenly we are taking 600mg of Iburofen and monitoring the situation lol lol

I sometimes think I haven't done a lot with my life and then I look at my 'children' and grandchildren and think maybe I have. I stopped reading the Saga magazine because it seemed to always be full of 90 year olds doing parachute jumps and 80 year olds climbing Everest and it made me feel guilty for enjoying my life as it is.

I never had ambitions. Things just seem to happen. It's strange though: yesterday I was 18 and suddenly today, I'm 100!. How the devil did that happen ?
