We emended our wills last week and it cost £180 for the two
4 or 5 years ago mine cost me £75. I'd guess now it might be about £100+.
I'd guess at £100 ish. I made mine about 3 years ago and I think it cost me £90.
I suppose it all depends on where you live and who does your will for you.
If the will is straightforward there's absolutely no reason why it should cost you anything at all, as it's very easy to draft your own will and get it properly witnessed.

My post here is relevant:

I agree with Chris. I made our Wills out when we decided to become Tenants-in-Common instead of Joint Tenants with our property.
Provided they are straight forward and cannot be mis-interpreted they will be accepted by the Probate Office/ Law courts, etc.
My wife's Will was accepted when she passed away and our children then became owners of her half of the property.
Plenty of web sites will advise about what to include and how to set it out/witnessed, etc,. and printed on a sheet of quality buff-coloured paper even makes it look more legal.
// but have got to change it unfortunately//

but have got to change it fortunately - you mean
Gold star for keeping it up to date so it matches current circumstances.
Look at princess Di - when she did - complete disaster

Look at the old one and cut and paste -

Otherwise it is about how long the will is.

Chattels has got a new definition but they will know all about that

Cheapest £40 - I paid £1k and was grateful for the tax advice - I mean at mu death I was gonna give the govt much more than £1k - like 40% of the remainder over £325k

with your name see
