went to the cinema to see it last night,i really enjoyed it,nothing like the books though as i have read the full set.

I haven't read the books but really liked the first film of the series.
Not seen/read either. Young Chill has done both. Said the films were great, books even better in his opinion.

books have so much detail you begin to think is this the right film.
I wasn't much of a fan of the third book, read too much like a FPS video game. Don't have a problem with that exactly, but I'd rather play video games than read about someone playing them... hoping the third and fourth films will be better.

I liked the films too, but I agree Slinky the books are brilliant, nothing beats the imagination I get lost in my books!!
