Got my xmas tree up complete with working lights. Got yors up yet?

No, not yet.

It's Mini Boo's birthday on the 1st, so we let her have her day first. It'll probably be going up the following weekend, the 6th- can't wait :-)

We,too, put ours up 12 days before, and it comes down on 12th night.

Just gotta buy string first as thanks to evil spawn of satan our tree's got a wonky leg and has to be nailed to the wall.

first Christmas present arrived in the mail a week ago but it will have to wait a while before it has a tree to sit under.

No. I'm trying to pretend Christmas isn't happening this year. We might get a tree if my son insists, but I don't think he will. Must start buying stuff, anyway.

Kids have nicked all my decs & fibre optic tree but have left my homemade cardbox nativity scene.....just fresh straw & am done ;)

If I bother it will be the weekend before Christmas and taken down as soon as the visitors have departed.

When I lived in Spain,the tree went up on the 6th December,the day of the Immaculate Conception,it was also a holiday...so I have continued doing the same here in the UK...I will be getting everything down out of the loft this weekend to check lights are all working.
Can`t wait to get the decs up.
