erm which sinuses ?

anyway yes - boil the kettle and let it cool - you can use it cold if you want
and the recipe you are using will give around - N saline but cheaper

All the things you are using are not sterile altho it is unlikely that the stuff around the house is dangerous [ - " pathogenic " ]
It really doesn"t matter, as one would presume the " flushing fluid" is going into an infected area.

That is of course, if you have an infected area.

The water however should be at body temperature.
I use a sterimar spray, less faff.
I would boil it, and would make sure the temperature is right.
May I ask how you do it?
I once used a thing that looks a bit like the jug you use to fill your iron, but more enclosed and with a small hole. It was horrible. I'd like to know a less painful way to do it.
sterimar cloverjo. not unpleasant and if your sinusses are sore, actually comforting

Clover no, I have Nasaline Sinus cleaner I bought from Amazon. It's like a huge hyperdermic needle. But it's not a needle ! It's plastic tube. Not at all uncomfortable to use.
Thanks everyone. I will boil the water beforehand in future.
