This time last year Arsenal were romping away with the league ( Ok, they finished 4th like they always do) and led to some of their more bewildered fans to get over exited.

tTnight they are in EIGHTH, playing crap boring football, and will never win anything again with Wenger.

Good to see things back to normal?

Not a sportsmanlike comment

Just wasted 90 minutes watching them. They were rubbish.
Waste not, want not
Don't forget Gromit Arsenal did score two goals. :)

Conceded magicmick,

But there is the rub, they lost 2-0 to a team that only had 1 shot on target :-)
But that shot counted.
Never mind, practice makes perfect.
From one who knows.

As a neutral, I must say I saw two very average looking sides. Wenger will point at the stats, and say his team deserved something, but once again Arsenal came up short against a top team. I don't think Arsenal will make the top four this season (and don't forget, Wenger regards that as a trophy), and I wonder if "the Professor" will be in charge much longer.
Same as Wales & NZ, they gave away the winnings to the All Blacks.
Being a bit of a foreigner, I often wonder, why I don't know, but Arsenal sounds almost "rude": is there a town or city by that name?
Why? Why bother laughing or crying or anything? It's only footie. I really don't like to hear bigoted unsportsmanlike comments by ANYONE. It's supposed to be a sport, a game, enjoy it or shut up. Don't be nasty. Bottom line... it's NOT important.
stuey, Arsenal get their name from being the original football team at the Royal Arsenal, A munitions store in Woolwitch in SE London. It's where weaponry was manufactured and stored. They kept the name when the arsenal closed.
Stuey, hence their nickname "The Gunners"
....and MU were originally Newton Heath, hence their nickname........

Arsenal were easily the better team.
Thanks for the explanations...Interesting.
Haven't been on here for a while and return to find Gromit as unoriginal as ever and completely missing the point! Tit for Tat again eh Gromit? Laugh at Arsenal as much as you like, I'll join you as things are so desperate, you have to laugh. Try and come up with something new Gromit, you'll enjoy the experience! (Still also laughing at Manure, by the way)
I chuckle at Adrian Durham's 'Daily Arsenal' feature on TalkSport.
From the beginning of the season until a few weeks ago Newcastle languished at the bottom of the table. Now they are fifth. Funny old game.
That Newcastle sat 4th in the table on Saturday afternoon indicates the current standard of the PL I'm afraid
But it does give others hope :-)
