Saturday. Looks like it's going to be soggy again today. I have an early start at the Heritage Centre, so will be away at 8. I wonder if slappy will press the 'Sunshine Button' for us.

Tiggy was early last night. He didn't hang around as it was raining. I don't blame him.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning Boaty xx Morning Wendi xx
Just looked that up Boaty, that's only about 20 mins drive from me. My family now live on the other side of the border in Leicestershire (just) so I'm often going near there, but have never been to Woodhouse itself
Many years ago plus that is where I used to go up to the Old John and dx with my cb radio long distance . I got caught with a 25 watt burner and fined £25 . That was a lot of money in them days .

It's a quiet rural village peas. Well, they both are, about a mile apart. Surrounded by open countryside.
Question Author
Blimey! You're not kidding wendi!

peas, both villages are in Leicestershire. On the other side of Mount Sorrel from the town.
Yep, it's lovely around there. I do a lot of walking on the other side in the Vale of Belvoir - that too is beautiful, even in the winter, you can go for miles on the 'yellow stick' marked footpaths and not see a soul. - came in very helpful a few years back when I needed to clear my mind a bit :-)
Still did not stop me I have loads of cards to prove who I picked up used to go to a po box number . picked up usa quite easy from that point .
morning all, a dry one here and it's Saturday breakfast time again...where has this week gone?
Question Author
I know where you mean peas. No marked footpath there then though. But yes, it is beautiful and was always tranquil. even as a child I liked that.
