Ms Sturgeon is asking the Scots to vote SNP and ditch Labour. But she has also said that she will never do a deal with the Tories, if they need help with a coalition again. Mixed messages perhaps ?

My point is that in the not far too distant past the Tories were very popular in Scotland. That's where Toryism originated, as supporters of James II/VII.
Yes they were known as the Progressive Unionist Party.
The "Unionist" part referred to the union with England,and not the trade unions.
The orange LOL are the last vestiges of them,but dying on their feet nowadays,due to a lack of members.
