Strange, neither can I copy and paste a picture into Outlook.

Try the following by sending an e/mail to yourself.

Start New Mail addressed to yourself. Click Insert > Pictures In Line..... Locate a picture from a file and when you open it the picture will appear in the body of your E/mail at a point where you have placed a cursor. A right mouse click on the picture will enable you to re-size it.

Hans.

Hans, sorry did not get back sooner, had to go out today.
I can attach files etc...it is just the C&P..have tried sending an email to myself but still to no avail...what a pain...I love to add little pics to make a chatty email more interesting.
Tried sending one to myself doing what you suggest...again...nothing!!!

Do you think it is to do with settings????
Question Author
Hans, have just tried C&P on my Virgin emails...and it works!!!!
So what is the problem with Outlook...I wonder?
I am a bit lost as regards what next to suggest. It is the case that I am unable to C&P photographs into Outlook but, as above ^^^, 'Pictures in Line' does work for me.

At the moment my fingers are crossed in the hope that someone in AB is able to offer better advice than I am, and will appear on the scene very shortly.
Use the paperclip to insert pic
Question Author
paperclip,where or what is that?/
Question Author
Just found the "paperclip"..but that is for attaching files or pics online...not what I want to do.
Never had a problem before this new Outlook...why can`t they leave things as they were!!!
