Ebay Opinion Please

My friend purchased a courier service off ebay and the seller messed him about till the buyers right to leave bad feedback ran out then he ignores all emails
he has resorted to doing this

Old_Geezer -what a ridiculous thing to say - those criticising are not saying its this guy's fault in having his item go missing -we are saying he has gone the wrong way about it by potentially libeling himself. I hazard a guess you have little or nothing to do with Ebay as half of what the OP has said about item numbers disappearing after 30 days and Ebay not being able to do anything is totally incorrect. You have the ability to report a seller at anytime, but the OP has said her friend did not bother as he wanted to sort it out without involving Ebay -this in itself is against rules of 'good practice' in Ebay. Now her friend has a negative comment in his feeback accusing him of fraud -thats bad.

I've no idea, I appreciate it probably wasn't a popular opinion, or indeed a very nice suggestion, however there was nothing immoral, illegal or indeed wrong in anything I suggested. I do think that Sin's friend could have handled things better from the start, Ebay is reasonably efficient in dealing with dodgy sellers given the chance but it'a no use deleting people's perfectly reasonable posts. That's the first one I think I have ever had removed, and I'm pretty miffed.

Then he ignores all emails off him
he has resorted to placing an ad to deter other people from falling for the same trap
he did name him in that one
but the other two dont have his name in
ebay have not banned him or even said a word because they only remove if its lies
