Did anyone see last nights Chase where a contestant took minus £3000 and was called a maggot by a sulky Scot?

Bang out of order in my opinion...Such a sulky, full of himself chap (the Scot that is)

The girl today did contribute in the final round, but I don't think the chap did yesterday.
I know its the rules, but I wouldn't be happy to be part of a team where one of them took a big minus offer. Why go on the tv to show off your knowledge and then wimp out.
The chap yesterday did contribute. As far as I remember he got 3 answers correct plus a point for getting back.
I agree, what an obnoxious piece of work he was. If the young guy had won the +£3000 and the team had gone on to win they'd have had £8,500 each. Hardly a life changing difference from £7,000 and it didn't deserve that display of cringeworthy rudeness.
have a notion there will be more of this sorta thing . I like Bradley and the show but its getting a little tired .hope they don't start to dress up like the box opening over the top show name that deal .
A surly rogue. He'll be rolled atween twa haggises and beaten wi' thistles if he's caught at the border.
Yes, today they played as a team, which is howit should be played and today it paid off.
But it's playing the game, and look at this way, it he had taken some money, they would have lost more!!!! That scot was dreadfully childish.
I hope the offending contestant watched the show, (pre-recorded) and was really pleased with himself, I think not !!
I doubt if had been an Englishman that gave that opinion, that you would have described him as such! ie sulky Englishman
I think they are repeats weecalf... My old man's a Scot Jeni and he was more offended by the Maggot comment than I was !!
I bet he was Mazie, I didn't even watch the programme; but was offended by supapapa's comment.
The most important thing is to try to have a full team at the end, better to all have something than just two go away with nothing, and the sulky sod was out of order, " I didn't come here for £7.000" he said, well in the end he didn't get anything anyway, and the younger man did answer a few of the final chase.
I think it's easy to criticise before the final chase is over, he shoulda kept his gob shut, one more person on the final round gives an extra step heald start and if any team wins by one step then it can be a good thing having less money but an extra player
I'm sure he knew the rules before he came on the programme. He's the first I've ever seen to be so grumpy.
If people think their general knowledge isn't good enough to win a few quid for the team they shouldn't enter the quiz in the first place.
They obviously have to go through an audition to be chosen for the programme.
In my opinion….he should of at least stick with the £3000, he was telling everyone to go for high offer - he shouldn’t of gone for minus-however calling someone even a silly as insult as a maggot on live tv is bang out of order and honestly quite childish
