what i cant understand is why these lorries cant have a simple alarm system installed in the back of their lorries to alert the driver of anyone moving about in the back. It would certainly cost less than the fines and the driver could alert the authorities without getting out of the cab. its not rocket science!

Dave, If the French done their Job right these people would not get any where near the Trucks or the road leading to the ferries, the HGVs driver has done his / her job when fitting the "Cord " on the Tault Linner / the seal & lock on the Steel securing bar at the back of the Container, s the driver can get fined of a £1000, but do you think that is right? it's the incompetence by the French that is the problem, until that is sorted te BIG problem will continue, I wonder how the Minority of the Smart Answer Brigade on here would feel if this problem arose in your town? would they respond with their petty childish replies that keep coming up to some posters Qs? It's getting to something that some can see a very serious problem that is getting out of hand, but not to worry, with some luck these People that are desperate to come here will end up next door to you, that will use up the Hospitals, Health Centres, Schools, Nurseries, & every thing else that is given to then through your taxes, to a few on here with closed eyes!
