just back from crete yesterday with ryanair no bother in fact we were half an hour early getting in to prestwick,reason for this post flight attendant told us ryanair will no longer be using prestwick for crete flights as they are shifting to glasgow,i might be wrong on this but didnt nickelass sturgeon make a promise to do what she can to keep the flights in prestwick

Er, what, exactly can the a Scottish Deputy First Minister hope to do with regard to the commercial decisions of a foreign (i.e. Irish) airline?

Prestwick Airport could be kept as a portal to another age, the '70s, so folk can see how lucky they really are.
Maybe the airport wants to concentrate on cargo. It`s a big diverstion airport. When the rest of the UK is foggy, that is the place that is penciled in as a diversion.

ryanair are moving one of their Prestwick aircraft to work out of abbotsinch; the other 3 are remaining at Prestwick.
