Had my first taste of these today, absolutely scrumptious!

I warmed a couple in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
Anyone got any suggestion how else they can be enjoyed ?

I use this recipe - http://www.visitwales.com/explore/traditions-history/recipes/welsh-cakes - taste exactly like my gran used to make.

Cheap as chips to make and will keep a couple of days in an air tight container (if they last that long). You don't really need a heavy pan to cook them in, I just use a frying pan.

Thanks both.
The ones I bought looked like Scotch pancakes but had a much more crumbly texture.

I have some corn syrup and a low-fat spread, so I'l try that on the ones I have remaining.
Probably in Wales ?

The Welsh tend to keep all the good stuff for themselves; cawl, laver bread, sheep.
Welsh cakes are lovely, if you buy them from a bakery they're fine, but make them yourself and they are so much better, easy to make too, a recipe is easy to find on the net, well worth the effort!......
