interesting read Abers

i'm not lactose intolerant but just wondered what it was like.
I'm getting some & will give it a go tomorrow, it'll have to be cold as i dont like warm/hot milk.
the daniels use semi skimmed - watch this space

I use it each morning either cold on cereal or half and half with water in porridge. Its light and low cal, perfect for me as i can't tolerate cows milk first thing in the morning. I use soya in the evening for tea or for making sauces, and a little skimmed cows milk during the day in coffee.

When buying any alternative to cows milk, be careful to chose unsweetened. Sweetened is vile unless you like lots of additional sugar on your cereal or in your hot drinks.

well I gave it a go and I could smell a nuttiness aroma, found it the colour of 'putty', thicker then my semi skimmed milk but after a couple of sips - I actually didn't mind it. The other members of the family didn't like it so it'll have to be myself that will have to finish it although my sister in law is coming over & she'll give it a go too.
I will not be having it in tea or coffee though

thank you Abers
