Is he a Marmite actor?

I would fancy the new drama he is in, but I simply can't abide his voice, or looking at him, or his one-dimensional acting, so I must avoid.

Although - for years i could never watch Wire In The Blood because I found Robson Green similarly hard to endure, but that feeling miraculously evaoprated without explanation, and I have watched and really enjoyed every episode.

Anyone else find themselves put off an individual actor / actress for no explainable reason?

I'm not keen on James Nesbitt and I don't think I've watched him in much since Cold Feet.
I can't be doing with Stephen Tomkinson, Suranne Jones or Kate Winslet (although I did enjoy The Reader)...and I'm not too thrilled about Angela Griffin who's joined Lewis.
James Nesbitt: not bothered either way.

Philip Seymour Hoffman: urgh.
And Shia Labeouf...
^^^^^^^^ him, stupid little nobhead ^^^^^
Me or Shia?
I like James Nesbitt, he did a series where he played a rogue undercover cop, good but the books were better.....just can't remember the name though!

Agree about Stephen Tomkinson, he delivers every part the same.....angst ridden and there is something about his eyes that bothers me too.
Adam sandler... Ben Stiller... Will Smith...
I like James Nesbitt. We see him quite often at the races and he always seems to find time to chat to those who ask him for a photo/autograph. I loved him in the film Bloody Sunday.

Actor I don't like (for no reason whatsoever) is Tom Hanks. OH can't stand Bette Davis.
shia but..... :-D
was it munroe (undercover cop thingy with JN)
nope, just looked it up - murphy's law
Monroe is where he's a doctor Fluff. It's due back on TV soon:-)
i never watched the doc one, programmes about up their own *** consultants never really seem to appeal to me :-)

murphys law was good though
I know what you mean. I think the worst one for that was Trevor Eve in Waking the Dead. It put me off the programme. He was always shouting too.
he was very shouty
I used to like James Nesbitt until it occurred to me that he has only one act, like Robson Green and Helen Baxendale(Wow, she really CANNOT act) There was also a very wooden actress called Lauren Holly. She was in NCIS and boy oh boy, I was so glad when she was killed off
Woody Allen
Well done Fluff, it was Murphy's Law.
imdb..... :-)
IMDB is a brilliant site I was opting for ICBA ;-)
