Just wondering do any of you turn your modem off when you go to bed or do you just leave it on all the time ? Do you think it uses much electric if its left on

Not a good idea to turn it off as your ISP maybe believe there is a fault.

The technology works best if the router is on all the time.

If you have Sky (or similar system that connects to the internet to download movies etc) it may download stuff to your Sky box overnight.

I also never turn the rooter off. Ours hardly moves the electric meter dial.
