Words With Friends

I've recently downloaded the latest version onto my tablet, but I can't figure out how to get it to appear in landscape, rather than portrait, format. Can anyone help, bearing in mind that I'm no techno-wizard?

Some apps only appear in one format, Sky+ for instance, only appears in landscape.

I cannot play words with friends in landscape. It always defaults to portrait.
