No chance. It's hard enough displaying an England flag without being accused of being a nazi, let alone a swastika.
As the opening paragraph of your link says, TTT, "Can this ancient sign ever shake off its evil associations?"
To that, I would suggest a resounding, "No!"

yes I am sure that eventually, maybe many hundreds of years from now, the design currently described as a swastika can revert to a better meaning. Right now? No.
Not until after the next millennium... maybe !
Highly unlikely I would have thought.

Some associations are just too strong.
Ludwig....why is it hard displaying an England flag?

It has crusader and football hooligan connotations that the people who love to be offended love to be offended by. Similar thing with the union flag, Although it has to be said they've both been going through a fairly successful reclaiming process for a few years now.

Both the people who love to be offended and the far right tm4ts that hijacked them for their own use are largely now being ignored by the sensible majority.
There have been flags flying round my area for as long as I can remember.
perhaps they heard you were moving, ummmm. ;-)
^ Your neighbours must all be nazis.
Not you svejk. I'm sure your neighbours are ok.
they're Welsh. ;-(
Whats wrong with a crisp white shirt and a pair of black or navy slacks
Why would anyone else want to "reclaim it"...the Far Right in Europe and over here have never stopped owning it.
Last time I was down the Strand. London. I saw the swastika carved in stone, with other symbols, around the balustrade on the outside of the BBC which I thought was strange until I realised that part of the building was shared with India house. Strange that those who love to be offended didn't demand it be removed.

Mikey the swastika is an ancient symbol in many cultures. It was hijacked in the 30s. The far right in Europe have not always owned it.
