Hello all,

Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Hi everybody, yup it's that time of the year when we can gorge on the lovely pommegranate seeds. You can use them as a snack or put them in a green salad with avocados for a colour blast. Google "how to deseed pommegranates" to find out which easy method suits you. I like the water in a bowl and scooping out the white bits with a little sieve.

Congrats to those who have lost esp OG :-)

Going back to something xstitcher said a few days ago would you all be interested in a fashion tips theme for November? Especially with the Christmas party season coming up.

You have all done brilliantly so far but a flattering outfit can make you feel a million dollars!

Let me know if you approve and I will do some digging on "the Google".

Good for you Marijn. That's the way you want to go. Do you think it's because you cut out the bread?
Thank you. No it's not the bread, unfortunately. Giving up bread hasn't made a difference weight-wise. It's hormonal, so no credit to me really.

That is a good idea you have come up with and remember us more mature ladies fashions . This is how this posts started about 3 years ago .xtitcher put a question up as to how to keep nice and I answered her then someone said (why should we bother at out age) and the posts started from there We have lost a few gained a few and lots keep coming back . Also don't forget our OG I am sure he will be interested he just needs normal set of weigh scales lol,
