I am amazed how much the sizes vary, not just male v female.
What governs the size of a nose?

Are we in good comany with Matthew Parris, bathsheba?
maybe....
Glad I'm not alone in noticing it, though.
I warn anyone reading this post who had not noticed people woth big ears before now that they will henceforth be rivetted by ears and unable to stop themselves checking them out and gasping at the enormousness of them.
At last ABERs are getting the hang of " best answers"
That one by Douglas was excellent.
Crossword people...please note.
Bathsheba, is that a picture of Prince Charles?
Depends how hard you smack it.
The shape of your nose at birth is genetically determined OR if the birth is difficult, then the nose may well be deformed, indeed permanently.

From birth onwards "chance" takes over and the shape may then be determined by disease processes or injury.
Ladyalex, you are so lucky with your tiny lobes. Mine are huge and I can't wear any kind of earrings because they draw attention to my ears. I would love to get them trimmed - like Darcy Bussell - but that would be ridiculous.
Thank you, Cloverjo.
I had no idea ear lobes could be trimmed....what a lack of imagination on my part!
My older sister told m that as you get older, your ears get longer and your lips get thinner, unfortunately this seems to be true!
