Brings back painful memories of 1961 - wearing these for the first time, stockings digging deeply into the back of legs leaving red sore marks, a cold patch of leg, tightness around the waist - certainly not the most comfy of garments! I won't be trying them again 50+ years on! ;)

PS But I expect most men would welcome their return! (Sqad avert your eyes from the pics! haha)

Talking of suspenders - who remembers sock suspenders for men, as children we often bought our Dad these for Christmas and they always made me giggle as they looked so silly!
Not ashamed to say I love them but you can't force a lady to wear them she has to be comfortable
idiot woman. Suspender belts suspenders are worn UNDER the knickers otherwise every visit to the loo requires a full strip.
Ann and Gness, you must be very rich. I always kept a silver threepenny handy for emergencies, which happened more often that I care to think about.
Thats when nurses were nurses....stockings ..suspenders...upside down watch and a splash of Dettol behind the ears :-)
Ah they are incredibly sexy. Except when used by Rocky Horror of course.
Do you know, woofy, that had never occurred to me.

You learn something new every day :)
dave I am amazed that no one else who has actually worn a suspender belt noticed and commented.
to be blunt its quite easy to get your panties down far enough for a wee when you wear suspenders over the top. Try it :-)
sunny-dave - "Please don't tell me you're thinking of Julie Burchill whilst doing that, andy :()"

I promise you, I'd think of Nick Kent before I'd think of Julie Burchill!!!!!
gness - "If Andy dampens the NME too much he'll look like an accident in a Tattoo Parlour.....☺"

Again!!!
Retro chic many many years ago I have and it wasn't....
I recon hold ups are a better idea, because you tend to get your hair tangled in suspenders!
Bright spark I had an unexpected Brazilian when wearing a pair of extra long hold ups. For every step I took I wept a tear of pain :-(
Jeeeez Eccles.... too graphic!!!
You should have got her to take them off before nosing in there BS.
If you winced reading it Slapshot multiply it by a thousand for what I felt......whilst maintaining a professional smile :-(
As they say in France Chapeau!!! I remember my wife wearing them once, we didn'y get out the door till she'd changed, getting downstairs was enough
Eccles....how is John McCririck these days?
