I think a news moment is significantly longer than this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moment_(time)
It's like a shop assistant saying "I'll be with you presently" .. then you stand around for ages waiting and waiting...

Aye a while is another ,momentarily ,jiffy used quite often .
Now we are decimal, 10 jiffies make a moment and there are ten moments in a presently. A "while" is a moveable figure depending on how bored you are. In a shoe shop with your wife a while can last almost an eternity.
To a Quark, I guess a moment would be an eternity, but to us, a good excuse to revisit Rossini's thoughts on the music of Wagner..............

"Wagner's music has some sublime moments .................... but some *** awful quarter of an hours.......... "
Just a moment whilst I endeavour to comprehend matters.

Meanwhile, it will only take a trice to add to the Builder's musical moment.

Rossini also said....."Beethoven I take twice a week, Haydn four times, and Mozart every day."

Hans.

on the radio why do they have to tell you their names ? I don't give a damn who you are just get on with your job and read the news.
