of myself. Today I had my annual review for my diabetes. To start you get your weight and height checked BP (high white coat syndrome) and the dreaded arm blood test. This tall gent in the cubicle next to me said no your not taking blood from me so I turned to the nurse I had and said ok let give it a go. He got the needle in and I was very brave but sadly no blood was flowing. But I'm going to the nurse next week to have the bloods done. I'm so proud I managed to just do it for once and not get in a flap. But all in all all is well they are very happy with me so I'm really happy :)

"no blood was flowing"

What does that mean?
Well done, Queenie, don't let the White coat syndrome get to you. Do you mean the nurse at the doctors surgery next week ?.

Yes Tony I mean the nurse at the surgery - she's a Phlebotomist so she has never failed in getting blood off me :)
