Only at those who are surprised. All nutters together.

That's understandable. He probably wants to ensure they're using the right type of knife for the beheadings before making any rash allegiances.

History repeating.
When the Russians left behind a weak regime in Afghanistan, Hezb-e-Islami were instrumental in getting rid of them, and installing an Islamist state under the Taleban.
Today we have a weakened foreign supported regime in Afghanistan, and Hezb-e-Islami still have the same objective of an Islamic State.
So no surprise at all that they may form an allegiance with IS who have the same objective.
Better send 'boots on the ground' back in once again.

That should keep some of our 'Boots on the Ground' supporters happy.

I think you predicted that once our troops left the Taleban would return to power. This is what this group are striving for.
Just about everybody predicted it...the phrase being used was "business as normal" once the troops were out...

and they always said whereas we had money, they had time...in other words they just sat and waited until we left....bazinga

'Savages', I think we can use that word without the need for cries of "racist"
No surprise whatsoever. The attached link refers a little more to the meeting with the Commander.

From John Simpson's article:
// In 1989, when the Russians pulled out of Afghanistan, the Americans and Europeans sighed with relief and proceeded to forget all about the place. The result was rampant corruption and the eventual arrival in power of the Taliban. They established the most extreme Islamist state known in modern times, and allowed Osama Bin Laden to operate from their territory and organise the 11 September 2001 attacks. After that, the Taliban were driven out of Kabul. But immediately the US and Britain forgot about Afghanistan again, because of George W Bush’s obsession with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.
By the time the resulting Iraqi civil war had started to fade, it was too late: Afghanistan was on fire once more. Now the British and the Americans are desperate to pull their troops out and forget about it all over again, as quickly as they can; which is precisely what Commander Mirwais and the rest of them are hoping for. //

Which is what I said earlier.
This Mirwais probably has as many followers as Anjem Chaudhery (they can all travel in one minibus) but as it suits western media so they will give them enough coverage.

Americans created Al qaeed but they managed to fooled people,

Then Americans attached Taliban with them, attacked Al Qaeeda,Taliban and apparently defeated and got rid of them and again, managed to fool people,

Then last year (or So) Americans created ISIS and managed to fool many that they are good people and West should fight along with them shoulder to shoulder in Syria. But at that stage Americans failed to fool many.

Then ISIS did so many horrendous killing in the name of Islam although that has nothing to do with Islam or Muslims and Americans declared them as terrorists (perhaps change of mind).

Now that ISIS managed to give Americans backing of the same countries that refused only few months ago to attack Syria.

Finally, you do not have to be a rocket scientist to understand it all.
Keyplus,
// Then last year (or So) Americans created ISIS... Americans declared them as terrorists (perhaps change of mind). //

Not quite. The US declared them a terrorist organisation in 2004 when the were part of the insurgency against the US invasion of Iraq. The organisation has had many names, al quaeda in Iraq, ISI, ISIL, ISIS and now IS for short, but its aim, of a caliphate has always been its guiding tenent.

There is possibly a conspiracy, but you are wide of the mark above. Politically, bringing home the US troops was an election promise of Obama and widely supported by he US public. So the US withdrew before Iraq (and Afghanistan) were established, compliant US supporting puppets in the middle east. The threat from IS may be being exaggerated as a pretext for going back and completing the job (of moulding them into US friendly puppets).
The public in the US had no appetite for returning to Iraq, so a new front was allowed to open in Syria, and the US public were encouraged to support defeating Assad who was a good old fashioned Commie. Except opposition politicians in the US and UK conspired to halt the rush for a new war. Obama (and Cameron) needed a new reason to resume hostilities, and it was at this stage that ISIL was elevated from minor player to al qaeda on steroids and the greatest threat to mankind. So today, Obama and Cameron have got what they wanted, both the US and UK returning to Iraq for a third war.
