What are you on about? any link?
Yes, some people may not like it, but in my book if he is protecting young people, by catching these horrible men, then good luck to him
I disagree.

It all sounds very laudible - these guys turn over their evidence to the police blah blah, but where do we go from there?

Next, we have a slightly more excitable bunch who don't hand their evidence over, they break bones with baseball bats instead.

Then the psychos move in, and it's a bullet behind the ear.

This is always the danger with unsupervised self-set-up gangs - what starts out as an apparently workable public service becomes carte blanche for the headbangers to steam in, and innocent people start to die.

So no, I don't agree with what the man is doing, although I do understand his motives, and frustration with the system.

The system is flawed, of course it is, but unelected self-righteousness is always going to end in tears. Best not to start that ball rolling.
I think the police should employ him, he's doing a fab job flush them out, it doesn't matter where you live there is bound to be one housed near by, I say good luck to him & keep up the good work.
And them paediatricians, they want weeding out too.
It is obvious how much he and his team care, and that is laudable - however the extra layer of making it all public on YouTube is unnecessary and humiliates and possibly endangers the family of those they expose.
a vigilant group murdered a paediatrician years ago somewhere in the uk they thought it was the same as a paedophile !
NO it is wrong of him thats what we have a police system for

Dee-m-See, you said . . . ///by catching these horrible men,///

For the Record

//Most sexual offenders against children are male, although female offenders may account for up to 4% of convicted sexual offenders.//
If he just handed evidence to the police that would be fine. What he shouldn't be doing is putting it on the internet.
I have just watched 15 mins of this programme . am I the only one who ''finds'' the men doing the ' hunting'' a bit strange ?
I've followed him for a couple of years on-line so don't base my views on a documentary.
He has gone from being a nemesis to the Police, as he was literally showing them up, to potentially being an ally.
He always calls the Police, they then do their job based on the information provided, he is never aggressive nor confrontational.
He is not a vigilante, i'd suggest anyone who has a view or is interested in providing a balanced view to look up his website and actually view the evidence he turns into the Police. It just may change your opinion.
He stated only today /yesterday now on This Morning that he will cease posting links now that the Police have indicated that they'd rather have him onboard, he didn't blackmail them, this is the result of the police recognising that he isn't some shifty geezer and that he actually would be an asset.
Anne...you're the only one who finds them strange if you felt you had to comment on them rather than the nauseating specimens who parade as husbands and fathers and who post explicit pics of their penises to 12/13 yr old children and then arrange then turn up to meet them for sex.
The old adage 'don't judge a book by it's cover' is very apt on this occasion.
kyle. not for one second am I not disgusted by these men who groom children.
I just cannot believe how calm they are in questioning the dirty old ********...i say well done to them for doing what they do, at least someone is out there actually doing something about it.
one of the committed suicide just after he was caught, was this because he was caught? was it the first time he had done this?
I understand Anne, I only wished you'd targeted those vile specimens rather the guys who have been doing sterling work for years, without any recognition until now.
phleb...they are absolutely 'professional' in every way. Lessons could be learned from them. I absolutely salute them.
As an addendum...it's rash to generalise in Stinson Hunters case...he can't be bundled with baseball wielding hoodie types who go too far, quite simply because he isn't a baseball wielding hoodie who has ever gone too far. He ought to be highly praised for the clinical, professional manner in which he conducts himself, especially when the 'groomer' turns up with wine to ply the youngsters with.
If you read some of the transcripts you would b sick...just be grateful that it *was Stinson who was there when the vile specimins turned up to take a 12yr olds virginity as I have no doubt they would have if the scenario had been different.
I agree that something needs to be done , but to allow someone outweigh the Police and other agencies to do so unsupervised is asking for trouble.

The guy might be well intentioned and get good results but will any evidence that he finds be admissible in court? If he is now working with the Police that is a step in the right direction.

Suspected child sex offenders have bee chased out of their own home - I think that some guy was murdered. These guys were not guilty of anything.

I agree with Anne in that a lone "vigilante" is not a good idea and a mob of vigilantes is dangerous.

We do need to find a way of catching these *** BEFORE they offend. I am not sure if that is possible.

I am pleased to hear that he will no longer add the airing of the results on Media Sites, thereby protecting the families of these terrible people.

It was a very informative programme.
