Hello all,

Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Yet again xstitcher has come to my recuse with ideas for a theme. So here are a few suggestions, obviously the interent is filled with all sorts of stuff so I have stuck with the diabetes.org site.

Here are some great suggestions for breakfast:

and a main meal:

Thanks both. I'm feeling a bit under the weather still, but looking forward to a fantastic trip and just a small treat from the patisserie on arrival maybe!
On arrival, in between and when you leave Maydup. You are faithful to our beliefs so you aren't going to put on a stone because of some baguettes on x amount of days. Enjoy your holiday and then whoever you are with will enjoy theirs too.
Ah you should find a lot of opportunity to walk around Paris looking at all the sights. Probably find it's more like 480 minutes a day for the duration :-)

And don't miss all the baguettes, you can fit one in with your goal for the day, or at worst make up half a baguette's worth the previous and next days.

We are up early aren't we :-).

Have a lovely time in Paris Maydup it is fab and I agree with OG you will do a lot of walking which is good.

Just a reminder to those of you around on Wednesday that it is the first of the month again!!!!

I will wait until a little later in the morning to stick up the new post so you can all get your weigh ins in, if that's OK :-)

Absolutely perfect Auntie.
Good morning despite being good this last week I have still stayed the same . Have just done my asda shop yesterday and all sensible shopping so hopefully it will shift next week .The only thing I can think of is too many eggs as I have the double yokers so I am cutting them out for a week .Will just have one on sunday and I have changed to brown bread and will make my own now I have got the flour for wholemeal bread .
Good morning all,
By some miracle I have stayed the same but hopefully next week will show an improvement now that I can eat my proper foods. Shall we go whizzing down together Wendilla?
Hi girls.

If my scales are to be believed I seem to have gone down 1 lb this week. That said it took umpteen goes before the scales finally settled on the same weight 3 times following. Same as yesterday's as it happens so I think it might actually be trustworthy (maybe).
well done OG you must be doing something right this week . Today I have cut out the egg and had a shredded wheat with non fat lowest milk.
It's a good feeling isn't OG! Good for you.
