Sporcle.com's quiz is for England/Wales. You'll have to run your own for Scotland/NI, dt.
I'll start with Northern Ireland, three counties without cities.....six plus a metropolitan area in total......
DTCwordfan - please have a look at my post in Motoring

(sorry kopend )
There are 7 cities designated in Scotland and 32 councils......anyone want to name the seven cities and their councils?
Fermanagh, Tyrone, Down?
I don't, wouldn't know where to start but I cannot believe that I didn't know that Avon was disbanded in 1998 (I was looking for in the quiz link).

Really, I don't believe it!!
2 are correct, Svejk, one wrong.....
I know Armagh and Derry have cities and I presumed Antrim had Belfast.
Belfast is in it's own metropolitan area, so Antrim is the 3rd, Derry has half of Newry, that being in Armagh as well on the other side of the river.....
down has newry
Is Lisburn in antrim
which 1 of my3 has a city, please. ;)
sorry, you are correct, weecalf - what am I thinking. Derry is Londonderry....Down and Armagh have Newry, the latter having Armagh as a city too.
right. Down has Newry City, then.
I bet Newry's a right auld one donkey town. ;o)
Lisburn is on the border of Antrim but technically falls in the Belfast Met area.
Neigh it not
ee-aw't to be.
OMG 4-14 - I think I am mentally thinking of county towns :-(
Is that the same quiz though - OP says UK, that one is just England & Wales?
