I would like to download and outline certain areas on a map. Is there anywhere I can get this from please?

There are many map sites. Google do one. And if the one you use has no print option you can always print from the screen. Paste into a picture and edit as required.

thank you. I did that and wasnt too impressed with the results. I thought there might be a more direct approach. I will have another go and try to make it look better

Assuming it's the UK we're talking about, have a look on the Ordnance Survey website.

sorry for the delay in replying - work. Baz, I thought I would be able to download a map and edit it. BHG, I will have a look there.
