Anyone watching Crimes of Passion ? We gave up after the first 2. Not very convincing stories at all - were they trying to copy Agatha Christies Plays?
Thank goodness they finish this weekend - does anyone know what will replace it? Hoping for more Maltanbano -perhaps the young one?

Yes, poor imitations, no real weight to them. I hate the way the Inspector always ends up going off with one of the witnesses, it trivialises the story.
I thought the last one with the sinister Nobel Prize winner quite good - pure hokum of course.
The best thing about these dramas is that they are not full of all the same actors, as British dramas are: Olivia Coleman, Alison Steadman, David Morrissey etc etc. And Tuva Novotny as Puck is really attractive!
does anyone know what will replace it

The Code replaces Crimes of Passion on Saturday 11th Oct. A six-part thriller from Australia, The Code stars Lucy Lawless (Spartacus, Xena: Warrior Princess), Adam Garcia (Camp, Coyote Ugly, Hawthorne), David Wenham (Top Of The Lake, Better Man, 300), and Aden Young (I Frankenstein, Rectify, East West 101).
