Updating Ios8

I have two iPads...a mini G5 and an iPad Air. I have updated the mini with iOS8 last Sunday but so far haven't received an update window for my iPad Air.
Does anybody out there have any ideas about this?

Just go into settings, general, software update

They send out the update notice in waves so as not to crash their servers, as Fitzer says, you can force an update in settings.

How are you finding the update?

I've been warned off updating my 4s and iPad 2, not sure what to do at the moment.

Absolutely fine. I have updated my 4 and my ipad mini. An interesting update that I wasn't aware of is that my ipad now receives forwarded calls from my iphone when i am at home. Couldn't believe it when my ipad rang!

I have a 4s and an IPad 2, on the 4s it's pretty good but on the iPad it's as buggy as hell, I wouldn't recommend it on an iPad 2, apps close without warning, keys don't respond, just nasty

Fitzer have you updated your apps? There are a zillion updates for apps to make them work with iOS 8

Woof, not just third party apps, Safari and other Apple apps do it too, everything is updated to the current versions I just don't think the processor in the iPad 2 is up to the job

Thanks Fitzer I'm doing it now.
Rocky Ive had no problems with mine so far. it seems from what others are saying that the generation of your iPad has a lot to do with problems.

I updated on Sunday. I have ipad2 with only 16Gb (I wished I had bought more memory's). I have put my music in iCloud using iTunes Match to free up space. Updated & everything is working fine once again and I still have loads of memory left. No problems at all.

Bit of a mixed bag of reviews then. I suppose I'll have to update eventually, but I am hoping Father Christmas will be good to me this year.
