Does anyone know of a way to use a tablet to connect to a digital projector? I'm weary of lugging the 3 ton laptop about.

Oh! You haven't bought one yet. What ports does the projector have? If it has a HDMi socket look for a tablet with a HDMi port.

....it'll be the one that will connect to a digital projector! I suppose it will have to be a model with hdmi output, but then what?

What ports does the projector have? If it has a HDMi socket look for a tablet with a HDMi port.

Now here's a thing - the digital projector I've got at present doesn't seem to have an hdmi port.
So is all lost?
Probably better to look for a teeny tiny netbook?

It has those dvd-i type with lots of pins in a trapezoidal head.

I have a projector that only has vga, I have been meaning to buy an adapter for my ipad for a while now. Looks like now is the time.

I know but I have bought cheap cables from Amazon that turned out to be as much use as a chocolate firegaurd. If you have a Maplins near you pop in and hve a chat I have found them very helpful in the past.

it would depend what ports are on the tablet and the projector. You may need an adaptor but it is certainly possible.

You can buy a mini HDMi to DVi adapter which should do the job.
