I have been sent some beautiful photographs by a friend (1) and want to forward them to another friend (2).

Friend 2 does not know friend 1.

If I forward the email to friend 2, will friend 1's email address show in the email?

I don't want to be giving out email addresses willy nilly.

Yes, although there may be away of hiding it. But it's safer to detach them then attach them to a new email
Yes, it will. I have this problem sometimes. When you forward it, you will see friend 1's email address in the body of the text (where you can write something in your own email) - just delete the correspondence and address section from the friend, leaving the attachments fror friend 2 to see.

If you get asked for an option, forward the email "in-line" rather than "as attachment".

Thank you both. Factor, how do I detach the photos? They were part of the original email rather than an attachment. I just pressed 'show pictures'
If you rightclick on the pictures, you might get a menu with a Save As..... so you can save it to your own photo files.

Thank you, boxy. I'll try that. (I may be back!)
You can forward the pictures, just delete the email address and conversation with your other friend from the body of the text before you press send.

Thanks, Maydup. I'll give that a go.
That may work but I'd do a test and check that the information isn't still available to anyone who selects the option of viewing the headers as that may show the full path
