Having heard yesterday of the brave young lad who intervened to assist police officers, here we have the opposite. Despite a whole host of witnesses nobody acted to assist this racist attack on a young woman. Is it the 'bystander effect'? Why did nobody react when an injustice was played out before their very eyes?

Divebuddy, thank you. Your integrity is appreciated.
In no way in giving an answer to the question (save for the fact I use the Tube every single day - and I have witnessed an awful lot worse) she is absolutely gorgeous......

I would like to think I'd have raised a voice, but The Tube is a curious environment, and I'm not entirely convinced I would.

People from the boondocks may say they'd've intervened, but those that do have probably been as close to trouble on The Tube as I have to being wet and sticky with (the utterly gorgeous) Emma Stone.
Cctv will give recourse if she wants compo for being mistaken for Breakfast TV Nagar
The man was a top grade a-whole. This wasn't an attacked purely based on race rather an altercation (which she claims he started) over access to a lift at a tube station.

If she was white and overweight her size would've been the key factor in his abusive tirade. Would we be reading about a sizist attack? I think not.
