Yes, I do see them from time to time...always similar trollies.
I live in a small community, and see the same folks over and over.
Hope they invite me for drinkies :)
I wouldn't buy one of their coffins either. I recently attended a funeral organised by them. The lead undertaker was dressed like something out of Dickens, complete with black bow ribbon round his top hat. The fact that he had a large gold earring in each ear did not exactly add to the solemnity of the occasion in my view.
You could always try that most disgusting drink of all times, ferlew, so beloved by wealthy Nigerians. Take one high ball, no ice, fill it with 60% Remy Martin fine champagne cognac and 40% Coke......a recipe for a session in front of the big white telephone.
LOL. I haven't heard the expression 'big white telephone' since my student days.

Pass....ta.
Nowt wrong with a brandy and coke
Since when has brandy and coke been a Nigerian drink? It was really popular when I worked in pubs in the mid 90s and we didn't have any Nigerian customers whatsoever.
Last time I was in t'Co-Op they still had the Divi and stamps.
It was popular in the 70s too.
In the 60s I remember brandy and Babycham, aka a knickerdropper. never worked for me (sob!)
You think that all pensioners are poor?

I'm sure some pensioners are very wealthy!!
HM isn't short of a bob or two. Bet she doesn't get much use out of her Freedom Pass.
At least the wealthy ones are still paying income tax, helping to support the 'don't work, won't work' younger members of society.
That could have come straight from the Daily Mail☺
geez...............I hope they didn't buy cigarettes ?
As my Waitrose delivery man says........well there's your essentials (200 cigarettes and some alcohol) oh and here's some extras (food)
I always use my bus pass to the garage to get my Roller to drive to Waitrose.
