As half-Scottish/half English I am British and desperately want to stay united with Scotland. I've been trying to think 'English' for a couple of days and it doesn't work. However, no reason why we should need not to be the 'United Kingdom' in the event of a 'Yes' vote. We would still be united with Wales and Northern Ireland and I have found Irish and Welsh...

As half-Scottish/half English I am British and desperately want to stay united with Scotland. I've been trying to think 'English' for a couple of days and it doesn't work. However, no reason why we should need not to be the 'United Kingdom' in the event of a 'Yes' vote. We would still be united with Wales and Northern Ireland and I have found Irish and Welsh heritage as well - albeit in smaller proportions - so I'll continue to think of myself as British! I love England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
