I've been trying to find a decent walking route planner. I've Googled it and I've tried a few but they don't really work, they still make people walk one way up a one way street, which walkers obviously don't need to do. I want to find one which shows the genuine shortest way from A to B on foot. Thanks

Thank you both. Walkit is no good unfortunately because it still makes you follow the roads, and the way traffic would go. I'm trying to see, for example if Odeon Cinema (SS1 1TJ) is nearer to Adventure Island (SS1 1EE), or if the Cliffs Pavilion (SS0 7RA) is nearer to it (on foot). I know for a fact there's a pedestrian pathway straight from the Cliffs Pavilion to the seafront, but the Walkit makes you follow the road and go a long way out of your way, and back again. Also the route from the Odeon makes you go backwards and forwards quite a bit for no reason too. So basically, it tells you, if you could only walk the way a car could go, how long that would take you. The walkjogrun one doesn't appear to work either. Thanks anyway
myrouteonline.com just added walking to their route planner. they used to show only driving directions but now users can plan a walking route as well.
