Is there an idiots guide to iTunes anywhere on the internet? I only want to use it to transfer music and audiobooks from my Windows laptop to my iPad and iPhone but this seems like a major operation with iTunes whereas a simple drag and drop would seem a much better approach!

Am I missing something or is a day-to-day function really so complex?

Thanks in advance

One of the computer magazines ran an article some time ago about software that definitely should NOT be on your computer. iTunes (horrid, nasty, bloated software) was high on the list!

Try CopyTrans Manager. It's free and gets you back to good old 'drag & drop' techniques.

The guy who put this YouTube video up is a master of waffle but, if you can get past his ramblings, you'll actually find a very simple explanation of how to use CopyTrans Manager:

To be fair to iTunes, it seems to do what its there for. And it must be fairly simple if I use it. ;)
