Could it be that the main reason Asian men wish to keep their womenfolk behind closed doors and unable to associate within society, is that they are afraid the women will let it be known that sexual abuse and paedophilia is a way of their life, as was shown by the recent Rotherham cases?

I know some are, Mikey, especially those who love being offended.

"....I still say that it is racist to maintain that all Pakistani men are the same, just because some of them have committed these awful crimes..."

Yet you castigate all catholics for misdemeanours by priests mainly in Ireland coz Gardai failed to prosecute offenders.

I have never castigated all Catholic priest Tambo and there is no evidence that I did. Its daft and frankly offensive to suggest that I did !

But the Irish Police, along with all the authorities DID stand by while a minority of Priests raped young boys in Ireland, and everywhere else that the Catholic faith is active. The is irrefutable.

I was brought up as a Catholic and experienced nothing but kindness and goodwill from all the Priests I came into contact with in the 50's and 60's.
And the recent rotherham cases represents how many muslims???
Not all who claim affiliation to a particular religion follow to the letter all the dictates prescribed within their religion's corresponding texts, no thanks whatsoever due to the associated deity they claim to worship but rather to the extent to which in spite of their religion, reason prevails.
Bit late with this, sorry. Re: ummms post about wearing shorts in Egypt, which perhaps wasn't sensible. My daughter was hassled by a bunch of young Pakistani men about 14 years ago when she was walking home from work in Bradford. They surrounded her and told her to cover her legs (she was wearing a work suit with an above-the-knee skirt) and also her, blonde, hair. The same thing was reported by colleagues' daughters. I assume nothing has changed; she went away to university and never came back. In her own country she had every right to wear what she wanted without being questioned and intimidated.
^ and they say, "It's the women who should be ashamed." :o/

I don't think I'm racist but if someone from another country started truing to impose their views and behaviours upon me within my own country, then I wouldn't be very impressed.
The big problem, flobadob, is that in all likelihood, these men will have been born and raised in Bradford. They consider it quite in order to try to enforce their views in 'their' country.
