Intellectual property law - invented after I got a degree thank god

as a notice it seeks OK
I'm confused here -have FB issued this Statement or is it just another daft thing being shared around? I doubt its a legal Statement issued by FB by reading the first line of it!! Really, if you don't want bits of your life made personal don't use FB -Simple!
Are you on a mobile device using Facebook, Ratters?
RATTER theses things go around on FB on a regular basis, as I understand it, they mean nothing and achieve nothing.

Jomlett, I use FB on mobile and PC but this is a notification I have seen posted on other peoples pages. Just curious really.
This has been doing the rounds for years.
Facebook is reportedly testing a feature on its mobile app that allows users to search through old posts from friends using keywords about people or events.

woofgang, I am sure you are correct, I wont be losing any sleep over any of it. I generally take these things with a very large pinch of salt.
I think with FB the best course of action is to only post stuff about yourself or others that you would be happy to be seen in your local newspaper.
Jom, are we to assume that they want the info for targeted ads?
They say this his means if they want to find photos from a birthday party years ago, users only have to search for a few keywords used to tag up those images.

If "they want the info for targeted ads" they already plenty to go on, but they will find more ways to make money.
Thanks Jom.
