while enjoying my breakkie buffet this morning, i noticed someone had made a beeline for the wine!! Is he an alchy? or was it hair of the dog?

If in the UK almost certainly an " alchy" but as you well know, if in Spain, then it is just a normal occur acne, neither alchy or hare of the dog.

My stepdad usually has a bottle of beer with his breakfast, definitely not an alchi as he drinks very little the rest of the time, just a personal quirk.

I do that TWR....it's the start of the holiday. And looking round the airport at 6/7/8am we're not the only ones. An alkie 'needs' a drink...not someone who is having a hard earned holiday and throwing the rule book away.
