is the one that turns orange/yellow a swede. And do you cook it just like mash(potatoes) I've done all those 'root' vegetables in a stew but just fancy some mashed. I think you can buy it ready cooked, is that any good?

You can buy it ready cooked and mashed. Just needs microwaving. Much easier than peeling, chopping and cooking a swede. And tastes just as good, I'm told. (I don't like it, myself)

Hey Tilly, I think you're very sweet Mrs!
Gotta go. Time to feed the dog and see how my stew's getting on. Back later.
Make sure you do Mrs ... Svejk's looking in ... no doubt x
The only difference between a stew and a casserole is the dish it is cooked in.
Some argue a stew is cooked on the hob and a casserole is cooked in the oven.
In my book, they are one and the same thing
Well, we agree on that bit mrs_o. It's just the turnip/swede bit we disagree on.
