Since moving house, our second car is now surplus to requirements. I asked 'webuyanycar.com' for a quote which turned out to be £20 less than we wanted.

Has anybody had any experience of this company, and any problems that arose?

Your comments will be muchly appreciated.

Regarding the price, Honest John says that if the car is worth more than £1,000, then generally better to use www.sure-sell.info, where the car will be competitively bid for, by both trade and public, will fetch market value on the day and can sometimes fetch a very high price if two or more buyers really want it. Commission comes off, but you get paid in 3 days, and get no hassle like the hassle you can experience with WBAC.

do not touch with a bargepole, use Ebay, much better.

The deed is done. Took the car to the local centre today and they offered me the same price that they had offered on the internet. That was £20 less than we had decided we would accept, and it was painless.

Of course there was a £50 admin fee to come off the offer price, but I had no problem with that and I can recommend WBAC, at least the branch I dealt with.
