would you HONESTLY see all of your family and friends right?

I know it seems to be the 'done' thing....and the politically correct thing....to do but I know that there are certain members of my own family who I wouldnt give a penny to. Certainly would see my friends all right but I can choose my friends, cant choose my family and dont see any reason to boost their bank balance by virtue of been related. Does suddenly coming into wealth make everything ok?

My only family are my parents. I wouldn't give them anything because (1) they don't need it, and (2) it would come back to me when they died, less 40% inheritance tax.

I would definitely give a load to some of my friends.

Money doesn't "make everything alright" but it's one less thing to worry about, so it definitely makes things better.
It beats me why anyone would want to give their friends any money if they won the lottery. Unless they had helped me out financially in the past of course, that would be different. To me it would be like rewarding them for their friendship which surely would not be necessary and a bit embarrassing.
