I've just had a phone from a company saying that there's something wrong with my PC. So, if you have caller display & 013256215 shows on your phone, don't answer it.

Thanks for the heads up carrust. Also good to know of all and any scams.
if you answer it because you don't have caller display and they start telling you you have something wrong with your comp just HANG UP it is a scam and if you go through with it it will cost you at least £100 for nothing if you give them bank account details (but who would )........
Put the receiver to one side and go off make a cup of coffee. Let them speak to themselves for a while.
ivor, sadly they do get a 'result' or they wouldn't bother
aelmpvw
hence my text "(but who would )........ "
Or ask them to 'just hold on while I fetch him'.... And leave them there till they hang up.
I am being plagued with cold callers at the moment, computer scams, money loans etc so now I blow a whistle when I pick up, I have caller display and here in Spain the numbers are not normal ones ie they are 915.. or 911... so I know. Poor people they must have earache.
