hello i was wondering if anyone else got this? If my daughter is upset, she will always go to her daddy for comfort. The other night he was out walking the dogs and she woke up scared, screaming and crying. She wouldn't even let me touch her! As soon as he came in he picked her up and she snuggled into his shoulder and went back to sleep. I feel most miserable about hte fact seemingly i cant provide comfort.
do i
1) try to change her
2) try to change the way i feel about it or
3) revel in the fact our tea is ready to eat and she's crying but mr bednobs will have to go to her?:)

Hi bednobs... I was only thinking about you yesterday and hoping that all was OK with You and Yours.... I wouldn't stress too much my Daughter was the same, a real Daddy's girl. She's all grown up now and we are really close and it's always Mum she comes to first. x
Mummy's boy, daddy's girl ?
Just accept and do what you can.
Hi bednobs, nice to see you again. It's a phase, I'm sure. Mine are daddy's girls and mummy's boys- as is traditional:-). It's just different types of relationships, but nothing wrong with that. She'll look to him for some things and you for others xx
Hello...nice to see you :-)

Let him do his cuddling duty. It won't last. They change.
How old is she? Has daddy been the main caregiver? I think it stems from there. It's just a default survival setting. As her own freewill rather than impulse comes forward, things will change.... Then its Daddy's turn to stick his bottom lip out! X
