Had my upper eyelids done yesterday by Dr Sood (130 Harley street) and already I am delighted with the results. Just had local anaesthetic with no sedation so chatted through the whole procedure. Dr Sood, or Mr Sood as the receptionists address him, is a complete gentleman who put me at ease from the word go. I too took advantage of the groupon deal and I'm so glad...

Great to see more positive reporting on Mr S C Sood.

I do understand people’s reservations when an offer sounds too good to be true but looking back at past comments, Mr S C Sood seems almost to have become an urban myth in people’s minds, but everything can be found on the internet under M-Zuri, the website is very comprehensive – he really isn’t as elusive as the Scarlet Pimpernel.

I have worked with many doctors and consultants over the years (and still do) – a lot of them purely financially driven. What is refreshing about Mr. Sood is that he seems to coming from a completely different angle - altruism rather than financial gain. I think he’s in a position where he can be quite discerning about who he chooses as a client so I count myself very fortunate.

‘Mr’ is the moniker that surgeons revert to, having fully qualified as a doctor. Historically it’s because they had to serve an apprenticeship and this tradition goes back centuries. Having qualified as a doctor it then takes many more years to specialize in cosmetic surgery, and to then be housed at Harley Street for thirty years is self-evident. The compliments I’m receiving are testament to Mr Sood’s skills….there are no absolute guarantees if you decide to have cosmetic surgery but I’ve not come across anybody yet who has undergone surgery and have been displeased with their results AND they’ve paid three times what I’ve paid so I’m doubly thrilled.
I have been a patient of Dr Sood's for 10 years, and he's kept my face fresh and natural - he is a complete professional, and a gentleman. I have never had major surgery, only fillers, Botox and peels, but can highly recommend his services.
I've been a patient of Dr. Sood's for 10 years, and he has kept my face fresh and natural. He is a consummate professional, and a gentleman. I have never had major surgery, but Botox, fillers and peels. I can highly recommend his manner and his services, and I would trust him with bigger procedures.
I have also purchased the groupon offer and when I met Mr Sood at my consultation on 29th of March I knew stright away that I will go ahead with my upper eyelid surgery. I had it done on 16th of April and now one week later I can already see great results. The whole procedure was painless and throughout I was put at ease by Mr Sood and his assistant. If any of you who purchesed this deal still have any reservations, don't, just go and meet Mr Sood and I am sure you will be as happy in taking this offer as I was. Mr Sood is as already stated a complete gentleman, highly skilled and I have no hestation in recommending him.
Could anyone who has had any type of nose surgery with DR Sood please post their experiences or photos.

Thank you
My appointment for my operation grows ever nearer and I am getting more nervous by the day!! I am sure that it will be fine and that it will go well...but I cannot help being nervous about it...the unknown and the being awake through it...although I did speak to Mr Sood today and as ever he was very reassuring. This time next month it will all be done and dusted....and I will update you on how it has gone. A pity that we cannot share pictures so we can see before and after pictures.....
Well my operation has taken place.

I have to say I was absolutely scared to death. But I was put at ease from the start to the end. It did feel uncomfortable. No pain apart from the first two injections but uncomfortable at times.

I am just on day 1. Stitches out next week.

Mr Sood called me yesterday evening to see how I was he is a very kind and gentle man. The medical world could do with a few more consultants like him!!

I hope to see results in a few days. At the moment lots of swelling and bruising.

Well done JEC4508, thank goodness thats over, it can only get better from now on, thanks for keeping in touch, I have been wondering how you got on, Hope you feel better soon x
Well a full week on since my procedure.....I am beginning to feel really pleased and happy with the results. The right eye is almost healed; the left eye still a little distance to go before that is quite right.....but looking better. I really cannot wait until I can put on my makeup to see how I look, I already feel more confident and happier about myself. I am back for a further follow up in June with Mr Sood.....so again for anyone out there considering I would recommend without hesitation.
I am almost 4 weeks now into my recovery. Things are progressing well. Apart from not being able to wear my contact lenses. This does vary from patient to patient though so I am not too worried. I have a further follow up appointment this week to discuss this but I am sure things will settle in due course.

There is a vast improvement and I am feeling really good about myself....just to sort out wearing lenses again and I knokw I will feel great.

Has anyone else out there had this procedure yet or the other procedures mentioned on the forum? Would love to hear your news...
I have just had otoplasty done on my left ear by Dr Sood and I am getting the stitches out tomorrow. I am delighted not only with the results so far but with the experience as a whole.

I found Dr Sood through Groupon, and having seen the AnswerBank comments and not being very familiar with the British Healthcare system I was naturally a bit nervous. However I decided to give it a shot anyway and I have not regretted it.

Dr Sood is not only an excellent surgeon, but also treated me excellently; he took into consideration my indiviual circumstances and put me at ease. He is a good communicator and he ensured that I knew what the operation will involve and what will happen afterwards. The surgery was scheduled within a week from the consultation, and my entire visit to the Clinic did not take more than 2hrs. The Clinic was immaculate, and the nurse very experienced and understanding. I am generally very faint hearted but they both kept me talking during the operation so I would not focus on what was happening and before I knew it, it was over. They gave me painkillers and antibiotics for the first two - three days to ensure that I would not be uncomfortable and/or infected and bandages to wear for 7 days to protect the ear. Dr Sood has asked me to call him on the first two days to ensure that everything is fine and he saw me after 7 days to remove the bandages. Tomorrow I am seeing him to remove the stitches too. My ear looks great and I can finally put my hair up without looking like bugs bunny. :-)

I have been so happy with the whole experience I am also thinking of having my deviated septum done by Dr Sood too.
Hello

I had my procedure in May and I am really pleased with the overall experience and the continued improvements. I am getting compliments - people say I look good but cannot see what the difference is. I have told family and close friends because I feel so pleased about it.

I went back to Mr Sood for botox as well and I am pleased with the results.

I feel really happy that I have found someone who has the patient at the centre of the treatment and never pushes you to have this or that done - that has been my experience with different consultants.

Glad your procedure went well.
I've recently had the Otoplasty with Mr Sood, and would highly highly recommend him. I was a bit dubious after reading this post before my consultation, however once I met him and visited the clinic I felt very reassured that everything was above board. The reason people cannot find his GMC number is probably because he goes by Mr Sood rather than Dr Sood. I found the procedure went very smoothly, Mr Sood made me feel very at ease and comfortable and I knew exactly what he was doing. The follow up care was fantastic, Mr Sood phoned me the following two days (after having it done on the monday) and then again on the Saturday to check everything was okay. I am very pleased with the results after having my stitches out, and would definitely return to Mr Sood and Queen Anne Medical Center (where the procedure was actually carried out) for anything further procedures. The overall experience was much better than I had anticipated, and was made to feel very comfortable. Again highly recommend this surgeon.
I would like to say to anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery with Dr. Sood that you could not pick a more caring and talented surgeon. I had a rhinoplasty procedure done and the results were absolutely amazing! I cannot even explain how happy I am with the results or even begin to express my gratitude. My nose looks better than how I originally envisioned it. Mr. Sood and his staff are so accommodating, professional and friendly. From personality, to credentials and experience, Mr. Sood is as good as it gets. He truly has a terrific eye and perfect perspective. What sets Mr. Sood apart, and what I believe has made him so renowned is that he truly has a natural ability to see and create the best possible result. The nose is such a prominent aspect of the face and it really is one of the components that shape the whole face. I am just so glad with everything Mr. Sood has done for me. I will be thankful to him for the rest of my life. Miranda. A
In addition, I had the tip of my nose done I did purchase the GROUPON deal.
Avoid this surgeon at all costs! I had lower eye bag surgery done under groupon, he turned up late for the op and then made mess of the surgery.
The results are very poor (another surgeons comments).
He is also a difficult person to deal with when things go wrong.
I regret ever seeing his advert and have to look a the terrible results everyday.
Go to an eye specialist who is recomended, this guy should not be practising in England. I'm an honest and truthful person and my comments are not to get at this guy, I simply don't want anyone else to go through the terrible ordeal and loss of confidence, due to this so called surgeons poor work.
I've just had my ear and I will lower eyelids done by Dr Sood he was absolutely fantastic. I was talking to a new clinic on Harley Street with a brand-new operating theatre it was absolutely fantastic and spotlessly clean. I originally found a deal on Groupon and Even tho the deal had finished he agreed to do it at the same price with a little bit extra for the new theatre I would definitely recommend definitely have more work done if needed. Pics available if needed but only just had done on 1/12/14
